Want to wear oversized naths like Vidya Balan and Sonam Kapoor?

"Nath" is a Marathi traditional name for a nose ring that ever Maharashtrian bride wears on the day of her wedding. Like "magalsutra", it is also a symbol of wedlock in Marathi culture. Well guess where has this piece of jewellery been used recently? Well it's none other than the 66 Cannes Film Festival 2013. It was worn in its modernised form. Vidya Balan and Sonam Kapoor were spotted wearing nose ring at Cannes, which looked ravishing with their traditional Indian saris. Vidya was spotted at the premiere of "Jeune & Jolie" wearing a lovely peach sari and red blouse designed by her favourite designer Sayasachi Mukherjee. She wore a golden nose ring to go with it.
Before Vidya, Sonam was also seen in a white lace saree with a long gold jacket and a pearl nose ring. The fashion icon looked absolutely stunning in the outfit.
Looks like the "Nath" will go place this season.
